About “The Midgard Wyrdo”

Hello all! My name is Raven and I originally started “The Midgard Wyrdo” as a Facebook page, well it was a group first called “Midgard’s Wyrdos” as kind of a Norse pagan group that would not turn into to a viking hobby group or selfie group. I wanted to create a place where people could share their experiences, ask for and offer advice, share their creations and if they had a shop or site where they sold their products, they could share their site, or if they found other useful sites and shops that cater to Norse paganism they would be encouraged to share with the rest of the group. I also wanted to make it a Loki and Jotun friendly place as well and make the people that honor Loki, His family, and the Jotun feel welcomed. I see a lot of Lokeans and people who work with the giants get harassed by other pagans in a lot of Facebook groups and I got fed up with it and made my own group. So that’s the history behind the name “The Midgard Wyrdo” 

I started this site to share my poetry, short stories, and prayers that I write and have written. Most, if not all, will revolve around the Norse pantheon and the mythology. I used to write quite a bit in middle school and then I was part of the roleplaying community on Myspace and in Gaia Online. I fell out of writing when I had a very abusive family member constantly put me down and just really hurt me emotionally and mentally and I ended up giving up on writing altogether, actually I gave up on a lot of things because of this family member. After becoming a pagan and encountering Odin, who I have nothing but love for, pushed me back into writing again. I can’t express how much love and respect I have for Him. Anyways I’ll probably do some blogging, mostly opinions or my experiences. I’m not one of those academic pagans I just write how I feel. So, I hope anyone who finds this site, I hope it might help them start, continue, or maybe find inspiration on their path.
